How the Appalacian Mountains were formed

The Appalacian Mountains were formed with sedemintary rocks, volcanic rocks, and slivers of ancient ocean floor. The mountains were formed by plate collisions back when the super continent Pangaea was together. My prediction of weathering and erosion in the next few years is that weathering and erosion will eventually ware down the mountains so they won’t be as tall.
